I completely agree with Tina, Citi Mortgage is doing NOTHING to help out the homeowners. I have submitted a work out package 4 times now and each time they reject it. They are NOT willing to do anything to help out, yet they are telling the government how they are doing all they can. What they are doing is NOT RIGHT!!!!

Tina, you aren't alone in your frustration with how the financial bailout has not seemed to trickle down to the average homeowner. You can seek out additional assistance through other avenues, such as the Federal Housing Administration (www.fha.gov).

citi is not helping home owners out , they will not sign up for 4h4 from fha but willing to take goverment bailout money to foreclose on all homeowners they can. if they offer a modification plan there is a catch- you need to find a better paying job ect.. ect.. how does that help! if they wanted to help they would sign up for all programs for homeowners to recieve help from the goverment like they did!

Lauren, I suggest you contact a manager at Citi Mortgage to discuss your concerns. Thank you for the comment.

Horrible customer service -- like talking to robots! You'll usually get a call center in India and can barely understand their "English." Nothing against the Indian people, but why is CitiMortgage shipping AMERICAN jobs overseas?!? They're a big bloated corporation who doesn't know the meaning of customer service and we have excellent credit (over 800)...

Jan, CitiMortgage does have a variety of refinance programs available. To see if you qualify for one of their programs, call CitiMortgage at (800) 667-8424. Representatives are available Monday through Friday, 8-8 (ET) or Saturday, 9-3.

hello i have heard that citi mortgage may have a program to change an ARM to a fixed rate mortage. my husband and i have excellent credit with a 3 year ARM at currently owned by citi mortgage. we also own a home in florida that is debt-free. based on numerous factors, we decided to keep the Florida home as well as our mortgaged north carolina home. we will be looking to change the mortgagre on the nc home to a 15 or 30 fixed rate mortagae with minimal or no closing costs and thought we would check with our current mortgage carrier first. do you have any programs for customers who qualify but want to change to a fixed rate mortgage? fhx, jan schilling
