Paul, there is a recent trend of mortgage lenders freezing equity lines of credit. Some lenders do this as a result of a credit review of borrowers, but this may not be the reason yours was cancelled. It's understandable that this is incredibly frustrating for you!

Danger!!!GMAC is apparently on the verge of collapse as they have recently cancelled my equity line for no reason. 09-26-08
