I have a loan with chase, it is a fixed rate at 6.5%. Like everybody else hit hard times and want to see about extending my loan. Can Chase help me with that!

Janet, no assistance program will raise the appraised value of your home. Speak to your lender about any programs they offer to help struggling homeowners or check to see if you can use an FHA program (www.fha.gov) to refinance your home.

I have an interest only loan and can't refinance now is there anyone or government program to reappraise the house and remortgage yet. Our house has gone down considerably now. We need help. thank you
